About my story
Music and drama are Ozan Can Ozan great passion and he never get bored, but I believe the lack of services for young people in the city.
- They think it's America here, and some are from the West and others from the East. They live in their own gangster world that has nothing to do with the world we all live in. It is actually a real shame, because in reality they miss by a lot, says 21-year-old Can Ozan Ozan, who has grown up in Street Garden Farm in Taastrup, after he was four years old came to Denmark from Turkey with his family.
Ozan Can Ozan'm glad he has managed to stay completely out of crime, for he has now seen many examples of how a criminal record can cause problems.
- I've always been the quieter type, and have not been wanting to make trouble. But I can understand that some of the young people are dissatisfied. If I were to say something to the mayor would be that we lack a club. And it must be a real club with tennis and billiards with free admission for those 15 to 25 years. So I think there would be greater chance that you got the young people off the streets, said Ozan Can Ozan.
Though he would not have much time to get in such a club, for daytime use Ozan at Roskilde Business College, which is undergoing a training office. In his spare time, a large proportion of the time with music for Ozan Can Ozan big dream is to become a professional musician or actor.
- I went to the Garden Street School, and I got several times starring in the school play - I had such role Swineherd, and it was wildly exciting to stand on a stage, said Ozan.
To sniff a little for the professional theater and film world, he has signed up as extras on statist.com, and so far he has been involved in filming for the TV2 series 'Dance as killer'. To enroll in drama school is also one of the thoughts Ozan go and wrestle with that put into practice a few years.
Dad is a musician
The music he has worked with for three or four years, and especially hip hop, he is passionate about.
- I write mainly in Danish, but also some in Turkish, and they are about my life and the thoughts I have. I've been out to perform a few times with my music, and it's been a fantastic experience. Now I'm starting to play with someone from my school who has a studio and it is really good, says Ozan, who has a dream within a couple of years to release an album.
All his life he heard music, because his father is a professional musician and can play many instruments. He sings only in Turkish, and has had a hard time living from music in Denmark. Therefore, he works alongside as a businessman.
Ozan love living in Denmark, but he makes no secret that it can sometimes be difficult to have an exotic name and appearance.
- I have had some unpleasant experiences at school, but never really took me off it because I think it's really stupid, says Ozan.
One particular incident has left its traces in Ozan heart. He was a friend of Deniz Uzun, newspaper delivery from Taastrup, who was killed with a baseball club on 19 March 2008.
- Deniz was my friend and I will remember him forever. I get a little upset when I can feel that others have already forgotten him, his death reminds us how much we must beware of the life we have, says Ozan.
